"President Reagan and Me"

Your students will walk in the same halls and sit in the same classroom as Ronald Reagan. They’ll learn how growing up in Dixon helped form his values and how values formed at their age can be carried throughout a lifetime of helping others.

We’ll help them discover how President Reagan helped form the world we now know. Your students will walk away feeling good about growing up in the region, plus, they’ll be glad you brought them to the center to discover history.

Lesson Includes:
  • The region as a backdrop for the formation of young Ronald Reagan’s beliefs and attitudes.
  • How a youngster’s present-day point of view can be related to Mr. Reagan’s boyhood relationship to the region.
  • How your student’s personal values and attitudes may be formed by the same kind of interactions that young Mr. Reagan had.
  • How Reagan’s principles and work ethic carried him through the path to the presidency.
  • How President Reagan’s decisions affect how the United States now functions.
  • How President Reagan’s decisions formed the present-day world.
